"Reece's Monkeys" is a team composed of people personally touched by cystic fibrosis—whether through a child, nephew, friend, or acquaintance. This connection drives us to do everything we can to help find a cure for CF as quickly as possible.
Cystic fibrosis is a progressive, genetic disease that primarily affects the lungs and digestive system. Those living with CF face tremendous challenges, including frequent hospital stays, ongoing complications, and daily treatment routines that can take several hours. Even with the incredible advancements made in recent years, many children and adults with CF still face the harsh reality of a shortened life expectancy.
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is leading the charge in advancing research, improving treatments, and working toward a cure. The Xtreme Hike isn’t just a physical challenge—it’s a united movement of hikers, donors, and corporate partners all fighting together against CF.
On May 3rd, "Reece's Monkeys" will hike 30 miles in one day on the Appalachian Trail. Our team goal is to raise $13,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation by that date. We would greatly appreciate your support—please consider making a donation to help us reach our goal.
