Fundraising for Iowa Ride Your Way 2026

This year, Reed will be riding a portion of RAGBRAI in honor of I Ride for Day and for a cause that is deeply personal to our family. For years, I have been the primary fundraiser behind Charlie's Angels, an organization dedicated to supporting cystic fibrosis research and advancing hope for families affected by CF.
Unfortunately, following major open-heart surgery, I have had to put many of our fundraising efforts on hold while focusing on recovery. Rather than letting our mission pause, Reed is stepping up and taking to the road on his bike to help carry our cause forward.
Reed's ride is dedicated to our beloved granddaughter, Charlotte Lynn "Charlie", who inspires everything we do. Through every mile he rides, he is helping continue the work of Charlie's Angels and our commitment to funding research, raising awareness, and supporting the fight against cystic fibrosis.
We are incredibly grateful for Reed's dedication and for everyone who supports our family and our mission. Together, we ride for Charlie and for a future without cystic fibrosis.
CF is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.
Every person born with cystic fibrosis is on a unique journey and experiences this challenging disease differently. While progress has been made, a long road lies ahead for far too many people fighting this terrible disease. We need a cure so that everyone with CF has a better chance to live a long, healthy life.
