The mission of the Breathe Team is to encourage supporters of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to combine their dedication to the Foundation with their passion for running in order to bring us closer to a cure for cystic fibrosis.

Get Ready to Run

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is proud to be a charity partner of the 2025 Big Sur International Marathon which offers several benefits to our runners:

The Big Sur International Marathon is a point-to-point course run on scenic CA Highway 1 from Big Sur to Carmel. Towering redwoods, crashing waves, coastal mountains and verdant pastures are featured on this bucket list course. The centerpiece of the course is the iconic Bixby Bridge, located at the halfway point of the race, where you'll enjoy the unique site and sound of a tuxedo-wearing concert pianist playing a Yamaha AvantGuard N3 piano. The course is USATF certified and is an official Boston qualifier.
FUNDRAISING MINIMUM:
Full Marathon: $2,500
11 Mile Course: $1,500

Attendance Policy
