Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic, life-shortening disease that devastates the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight life-threatening infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.

There is currently no cure for CF and although we have made great strides in CF management with the development of new therapies, the disease has a significant impact on the everyday lives of patients and families and can lead to premature death. Having family that works closely with patients with CF, I see the positive effect that health care providers and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) can have on patient's lives. That is why I’m running to support CFF and those impacted by CF.

CFF is dedicated to find the cure to CF and improve the lives of patients and families. The foundation funds specialized research, supports a network of care centers and advocates for patient access to therapies.

By donating to my fundraising goal, you have the power to advance the research and science needed to drive our shared dream forward – a cure for everyone with CF.
