I told myself I would never run another marathon again because one was more than enough! But, when I discovered the Breathe Team, I knew the only reason I would ever think to sign up and run 26.2 miles a second time would be to raise money for CF.  So, let the fun begin!

As many know, my sister Kelci was born with cystic fibrosis, a genetic, life-threatening disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. CF makes it difficult to breathe and fight infections, often leading to extensive lung damage and respiratory failure.

Kelci is a fighter, a light, an inspiration, and an amazing human being, and with the help of the CF Foundation, she continues to thrive each and every day. However, even with all of the progress we have seen over the years, there is still no cure.
