Get thready to help us raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as we gather for an embroidery night for ROSE UP Day! ROSE UP is a nationwide fundraising event where participants choose their own way to show support—from sports to baking, crafting to gaming—all to help find a cure for cystic fibrosis.
This year, we are raising money by hosting a crafting session, where you can learn some basics about embroidering and walk away with your own cute 3" Face Plant designed by Smallwoods Studios here in Birmingham! Check out the photos below for the six options you can choose from.
Also, the great folks at Cahaba Brewing Company are allowing us to utilize their patio space for no charge, so we'll have plenty of spots reserved for you, your pets, your friends, your friends' friends, and their friends too!
No experience required!
Just show up and we'll provide you with the materials you need (fabric with pattern, 3" hoop, needle, embroidery floss), a quick how-to on different types of stitches, and we'll hang for a couple of hours to help you finish your piece.
Use the "Donate" button at the top of this page to make a donation ($30 suggested per hoop), and we'll reach out to confirm which Face Plant you want to embroider. If you can't make it in-person, you can still make a donation and we can make a plan to send you materials you need to participate virtually!
