💜 I’m excited to share that I’ll be participating in ROSE UP on September 18, 2025!

For those who may not know, I was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis (CF) at 28, after being hospitalized for pancreatitis. Since then, I’ve been so fortunate to receive amazing care from the adult cystic fibrosis center at UNC, where the team has supported me every step of the way.

I also started the Trikafta medicine and my lungs are stronger, the coughing stopped and overall I’m very healthy. I am able to take this medicine thanks to the groundbreaking research and support of the CF Foundation, which has driven the development of new treatments that are transforming lives.

That’s why ROSE UP means so much to me. 🌹 It’s a virtual fundraiser created and led by adults with CF, bringing our community together to support research, treatments, and — one day — a cure.

This year, I’ll be walking 6.5 miles on ROSE UP Day, a nod to “65 Roses,” the phrase children once used when they couldn’t pronounce cystic fibrosis. Each step is a reminder of how far we’ve come, and how far we still have to go.

💜 My goal is to raise funds and awareness so that every person with CF can live longer, healthier lives. You can help by donating, sharing, or even starting your own challenge.

Thank you for supporting me and the entire CF community. Together, we can ROSE UP! 🌹

Whether you donate, raise awareness by sharing your story and tagging #ROSEUPCF on social media, or do both, you are making a powerful difference for people living with CF.

Thank you for your support.

Let’s ROSE UP together!
