I am excited to share that I am participating in ROSE UP on September 18, 2025.
ROSE UP, now in its sixth year, is a virtual fundraising event created and led by adults with cystic fibrosis (CF). This inspiring event brings the CF community together to advance the mission of finding a cure and improving the quality of life for everyone living with CF.
The past few years, I’ve been a sourdough baking monster though last year my health took a huge turn for the worst out of nowhere and i found myself needing another lung transplant to survive. I spent 125 days in the hospital, away from my beloved sourdough starter, and unable to even eat bread! Im so happy to be recovering at home now and after a whole year, im finally strong enough to start baking again.
For Rose Up, i want to bring awareness to cystic fibrosis and celebrate with you! If you donate to my fundraiser, I will put your name in a raffle to win a lovely loaf of my sourdough 🥖🤩
This year, our goal is to raise $500,000! You can help us reach it by donating today and spreading the word to your friends and family.
Recognized globally, the CF Foundation has been a trailblazer in the fight against cystic fibrosis, driving extraordinary medical and scientific progress. Together with the CF community, the Foundation has supported the development of more than a dozen CF treatments—an unprecedented achievement in a short span of time—and helped add decades of life for people with CF.
However, despite these advances, many individuals with CF still do not benefit from existing therapies.
I am proud to be part of ROSE UP this year, joining others in the CF community who dream of the day when CF stands for Cure Found. Please join me in supporting ROSE UP!
