We are excited to share that Aden is participating in ROSE UP again this year, on September 17, 2026. This is his fourth year participating!
ROSE UP, now in its sixth year, is a virtual fundraising event created and led by adults with cystic fibrosis (CF). This inspiring event brings the CF community together to advance the mission of finding a cure and improving the quality of life for everyone living with CF.
Participants are encouraged to choose an activity that is meaningful to them to complete on ROSE UP Day. Whether it’s running, walking, painting, baking, head shaving, dancing, or anything else that resonates, there are endless ways to ROSE UP!
Aden continues to take Rose Up as a chance to advocate and give back (we are so proud of him!!). This year Aden wrote an article about his participation in Rose Up for his local CF Foundation Chapter. (See his article here: https://t.e2ma.net/message/qgxctj/2pcgd3oe) He also asked to volunteer at Give Kids the World (GKTW) Village. He is finally old enough! GKTW is a nonprofit resort in Kissimmee, Florida that provides critically ill children and their families with week-long wish vacations at no cost. They hosted us during Aden's wish trip in 2024. It is such a special place and Aden can't wait to give back to them and the families who will be visiting when our family volunteers.
This year's event goal is to raise $275,000! We can do it! You can help us reach it by donating today and spreading the word to your friends and family. Many of you donated to Aden in 2023, 2024, 2025 too. Thank you!! Aden has been in the top 20 fundraisers across the country in the last three years running - totaling $7,336! Again, THANK YOU!
Recognized globally, the CF Foundation has been a trailblazer in the fight against cystic fibrosis, driving extraordinary medical and scientific progress. Together with the CF community, the Foundation has supported the development of more than a dozen CF treatments—an unprecedented achievement in a short span of time—and helped add decades of life for people with CF. We are endlessly grateful for the care Aden receives because of the foundation's efforts!
Even still, despite these advances, many individuals with CF still do not benefit from existing therapies.
We are proud of Aden for being part of ROSE UP again this year, joining others in the CF community who dream of the day when CF stands for Cure Found. Please join him in supporting ROSE UP!
