Palo Duro Canyon Xtreme Hike 2026

The Palo Duro Canyon Xtreme Hike is a thrilling adventure for hikers seeking a challenging and rewarding experience. Here's what you can expect during the Xtreme Hike:
Check-in: Hikers check in at the hotel on Friday, October 23, and have the option to travel with the group in vans throughout the weekend or use their own transportation.
Trailhead: On Saturday morning, October 24, hikers board vans to the trailhead, where they will explore the canyon's geology and scenery.
Rest Stops: Four fully stocked rest stops will provide an assortment of snacks and drinks along the trail.
Finish Line Celebration: After 19 miles, hikers enjoy a Finish Line Celebration with fellow hikers, guides, and volunteers.
Victory Breakfast: On Sunday morning, October 25, hikers enjoy a Victory Breakfast before their return trip home. 
The Xtreme Hike is not only a physical challenge but also a community event that supports the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Participants can sign up to become sponsors and contribute to the mission of curing cystic fibrosis. The event is a testament to the dedication and support of the community in advancing the cause of cystic fibrosis.

Fundraise: Fundraising is easy. Use the participant center, the CFF mobile app, or fundraise on Facebook to reach your goal. You can also host a passion fundraising event and check if your employer offers a matching gift program to increase the impact of your efforts. 

Share your story: Your story matters! Share why you’re hiking and inspire others to join. Use the tools in the participant center and on the mobile app to easily tell your story!
