My Breathe Team Story
Fundraising for 2026 Bank of America Chicago Marathon
Tom Anderson
I'm running to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and help create a future where everyone with cystic fibrosis can live a longer, healthier life.
This cause is especially meaningful to me because my roommate in Chicago, Max Norby, lives with CF. Seeing his strength, perseverance, and positive attitude every day has given me a deeper appreciation for the daily challenges faced by those living with this disease.
Cystic fibrosis is a genetic, life-shortening disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other vital organs. While remarkable progress has been made in treatment and care, there is still no cure, and too many people with CF continue to battle serious health complications throughout their lives.
I believe we are called to care for one another and to bring hope where it is needed most. Running this marathon is my small way of supporting Max and the entire CF community while helping fund the research and innovation needed to change lives.
Will you help us end cystic fibrosis?
By contributing to my fundraising efforts, you'll help advance critical research, support innovative treatments, and bring us closer to a cure for everyone living with CF. Every donation makes a difference and is greatly appreciated. Thank you for joining me in this fight.
