Grand Canyon Summer Xtreme Hike
Grand Canyon Summer Xtreme Hike
About the Hike
The Grand Canyon Xtreme Hike is one of the most challenging endurance events in the country. Where else can you conquer one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World while helping to conquer cystic fibrosis?
Hosted by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Arizona Chapter, this extraordinary event raises awareness and funds to help people with CF live long, fulfilling lives — and to one day find a cure.
The Grand Canyon Xtreme Hike requires dedication, determination, and heart. Each participant is challenged not only to meet a personal fitness goal but also to achieve a fundraising milestone of $4,000 or more, directly supporting the mission of the CF Foundation.
Due to the demanding nature of this event and the inherent risks of hiking in the Grand Canyon, the Foundation reserves the right to restrict participation for individuals who are not sufficiently prepared.
The Hiker’s Journey
2026 Grand Canyon SUMMER Xtreme Hike – May 15–17
