Team David
Team Isabelle hiked for 12 years. They raised over $1 million. They built something remarkable — and now the baton has been passed.
Welcome to Team David.
Isabelle is a family friend who has lived with cystic fibrosis her whole life. For over a decade, she inspired a community of hikers — including dozens of colleagues from Huron and AXIA — to show up, lace up, and fight for a cure. When her family stepped back from organizing, the hikers didn't walk away. The cause is too important. So they kept going, and this year, they're hiking for David.
David is the brother-in-law of Huron's own Sophia Council — and he has CF too. He travels the world, works remotely, and has lived without limitations for years, thanks in large part to breakthroughs like Trikafta that the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation helped make possible. His life is proof that the fight is working. But it's not finished. CF is an orphan disease — it gets little to no public funding and depends entirely on grassroots efforts like this one. Not everyone with CF has David's story yet. Not everyone has access to treatments that work.
A CURE IS STILL THE GOAL!
Our team is family, friends, and Huron colleagues who believe that goal is worth chasing. We're carrying the legacy of Team Isabelle forward — and we intend to add to it.
Join us on the trail. Or help us get there. Either way, you're part of this.
